Israel's top beaches

Hello All!

Meet most beautiful beaches of Israel...
Hope this info will help......

Israel is blessed by three seas — the Mediterranean, the Dead and the Red.

Beit Yannai Beach (Mediterranean)

Named after the ancient Judean king Alexander Yannai.

Considered by many to be Israel’s most beautiful beach and kite-surfing locale, Yannai is pristine and quiet. The Israel Parks and Nature Authority has posted signs with information on the natural features of the beach and its wildlife.

Overnight camping on the beach is allowed in the designated area only!
There are showers on the beach near the campground. Toilets are located 200 meters south of the campground. Fires are allowed only in the barrels provided.
Payment for overnight camping is per night.

The best place to snorkel in Eilat, Coral Beach is a popular diving reef and a family-friendly beach. Its setting on the world’s northernmost coral reef affords visitors an amazing place to see the multicolored coral garden and the Red Sea aquatic creatures that inhabit it.

The heart of the reserve is a coral reef some 1,200 meters long parallel to the beach. It is one of the most ‘densely populated’ coral reefs in the world and the only one in Israel.

Mineral Beach (Dead Sea)

You want mud? You got it. Whereas at many Dead Sea beaches you can buy packets of its famous mineral-rich mud to slather on your skin, at Mineral Beach there’s a huge mud pit to climb into. Prefer a natural Jacuzzi? There’s one here, too, fashioned out of hot sulfur pools.

The beach is located approximately 15 kilometers northern of kibbutz Ein Gedi. The beach has an amphitheater for shows and events. The amphitheater is suitable for private events such as weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, birthday parties, musical events and more.
The beach has a sulfur water pool- that is pumped from a natural sulfur spring in a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius, which springs 500 meters south of the beach.

The beach has a variety of services: showers, locker rooms, restrooms and personal items safe keeping lockers, a cafeteria that serves both soft and hot drinks and a variety of sandwiches.

Dado Zamir Beach (Mediterranean)

This central Haifa beach has pretty gardens along its long boardwalk promenade, beachside restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, free parking, benches and sitting areas, a dance arena (with weekly public dances and Israeli folk dancing on Saturdays), an amphitheatre for summer events, sports and playgrounds and a pool for toddlers. It’s even got WiFi.

Dor Habonim Beach (Mediterranean)

Natural rock jetties in the sea are perfect for kids to climb and sit on, and along with natural lagoons, they also keep the waves from getting too rough. The reserve has walking routes that pass through the bays, from which you can see sights including caves and wildflowers.

There are no facilities here to speak of, and it’s not accessible by public transportation. But these same qualities are what make it one of the most beloved beaches for Israelis in the know.

Wild and Deserted beaches around the world

Here are some of the wildest beaches around the world.....

Sure, some of these destinations are downright remote, and require off-the-path travel.

Lets start....

Wildcat Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore, California

beach is located 30 miles north of San Francisco and only five miles to reach it.You should always remember to get the necessary permit, as this is a National Seashore.

Polihua Beach, Lanai, Hawaii

In order to access this beach you have to go north from Lanai City on the jeep trail called the Polihua Highway. You can call this trail anything but not a Highway. You have to pass through an oddly sculptured landscape of the Garden of the Gods.

Los Frailes, Ecuador

Los Frailes is in Ecuador and it is one of the most beautiful beach in South America. It is a part of undeveloped Machalilla National Park, so it is mostly quite deserted, especially during June and July.

Cayo Costa, Florida

This beach is only accessible by private boat or a small public ferry that charges $25 per person for day visitors. This far off beach with nine miles of soft white sand is more beautiful than you could ever imagine

Manuel Antonio beach, Costa Rica

The Manuel Antonio National Park is a small biological peninsula found within an area devoted to different productive activities, such as agriculture, cattle and high tourism development.
It is one of the country’s most scenic and beautiful national parks. The mean annual temperature is 27°C, with a minimum temperature of 20°C.

Balearic islands-Majorca island

Hi,

Here's some info on Majorca island, and his beaches...Enjoy!

Balearic Islands
The Balearic Islands are an archipelago of Spain in the western Mediterranean Sea, near the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula.

The four largest islands are: Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera. The archipelago forms an autonomous community and a province of Spain with Palma as the capital city. The co-official languages in the Balearic Islands are Catalan and Spanish. The current Statute of Autonomy declares the Balearic Islands as one nationality of Spain.

Majorca island
Majorca or Mallorca is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea, one of the Balearic Islands.

The capital of the island, Palma, is also the capital of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. The Cabrera Archipelago is administratively grouped with Majorca (in the municipality of Palma). The anthem of Majorca is La Balanguera.

Like the other Balearic Islands of Ibiza, Formentera and Minorca, the island is a highly popular holiday destination, particularly for tourists from the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland and the Scandinavian countries. The name derives from Latin insula maior, "larger island"; later Maiorica, "the larger one" in comparison to Minorca, "the smaller one".

Here's some photos:

Beaches in brazil you should know and maybe visit

Brazil's most beautiful and unique beaches....you judge!!!

Ilha GrandeLopes Mendes beach
Facing the ocean on the eastern tip of the island. This long stretch of strand is unspoiled by any development, and features fine soft sand, clear clean water, and excellent waves for surfing.

Praia Mole, Florianópolis
Praia Mole is one of the most popular beaches on the beautiful southern island of Santa Catarina (aka Florianópolis). Perfectly white fluffy sand, lush green vegetation, and rocky outcrops give the beach an isolated, paradisiacal feel. Yet, the strand is anything but quiet, packed with a bohemian crowd of locals from Floripa, yuppie tourists, surfers, gay and gay-friendly sunbathers, and families.

Jericoacoara, Ceará
Jericoacoara is a beach located 300 km about Fortaleza, state of Ceara, in the municipality of Gijoca.
Jericoacoara is located in an area of environmental preservation, since 2002 a National Park, between mobile huge dunes, lakes of crystalline water, coconut trees, beautiful beaches, with a calm sea and ocean wave, where the contact with the nature is intense, and the beauty of the landscapes impressive.

Taipu de Fora, Barra Grande
Light blue sea, golden sand and coconut palms lined-up. This is what you'll find in Taipu de Fora, Barra Grande, Bahia. However, the best thing there is the huge natural pool formed in the low tide, 1 km from the coast. Snorkel and a mask are enough for you to be fascinated by the colourful fish and beautiful coral reef shapes. The beach is 7 km from the village.

Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro
Its on Ipanema Beach where you will always find plenty of sports activities and beautiful people. The beach is more narrow here and the water is pretty rough. People spend most of their time in the sand, or in the surf in front of the crashing waves.
